Wendy Williams...I love her wigs!

O hey, there you are! Or rather, you probably thought that about me. 

You know, when I was working, I had a whole lotta time to devote to looking up make up tips (makeupalley.com- best site evah!), reading blogs, writing a blog...let's face it, we were slow, hence my job loss.

Now, I'm a stay at home mom, taking care of a house ('cause o' yes, the fact that I am home has been abused by all), looking for a job (when I get a few minutes).  I HAVE NO TIME FOR ANYTHING!  I don't resent this time...not at all. But I wish there were a firmer wall between "you should look for a job" and "you should be a stay at home mom", because we don't have that.  Thoughts change every night and the team goes from left to right. In both of us.  Not Dean, he's team Stay At Home Mom team all the way. But he doesn't pay the bills.

We can make it. we think, without my unemployment checks, but we're not sure. DAMN THE LAST ELECTIONS! Although my husband encouraged that sweep....I don't think it was the right avenue, not for this state, but, sigh, whatever.

I apply for jobs every week.  Many, ok, most, I am no where near qualified for.  What I did....the job market just hasn't picked up in that area yet.  It will be awhile I'm afraid. If ever.  So I may have to reinvent myself. 

I'm ok with that, if someone willl pay me money to test their skin care line and wear Wendy Williams wigs!!!!

You know what I am sick of?

POLITICS.  All of them, both sides, and everything about it.  No one party is going to fix this shit that we are in. It ain't possible. WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER.  But that's not going to happen, is it.  You know it, I know it, and sure as hell Tony Rocky Horror knew it (first one to get the movie ref wins!  But there is nothing to win. Nothing but pride. hint, hint.)

Anyhow, I'm sick of the commercials, I'm sick of the jabs on Facebook between people I know and love.  JUST SICK OF IT. Really?  You think you party has all the answers...didn't they get us here in the last eight years?  and oh really, the hope and changey isn't working the way you thought it would???  Of course it's not, miracles only happen in movies!!!!  ALL OF IT.  CRAP.  MAKE IT STOP.  I'm actually looking forward to the elections being over tomorrow just so I don't have to watch the STUPID ASS COMMERCIALS ANYMORE!  

Ok, ranting done, because what does that solve. (oooh, new idea though...who wants to make an ANTI POLITICAL COMMERCIAL with me for the next go around??? We could Youtube it! We'd be famous, like Snookie!!)

I honestly don't think that things are going to get better in this country unless we work together and stop pointing fingers.
Maybe,  if we tell all the adults in charge that if they keep pointing their fingers that way, they'll eventually fall off....do you think that would do it? It works for my 5 year old.

Sigh.  Sadly, they'd probably just buy someone else's finger, or clone some new ones....depending on whose side you're on.
